A select group of Prince George’s County students have won two-year scholarships to Prince George’s Community College.

The program, sponsored by the Apartment and Office Building Association of Metropolitan Washington, offers scholarships valued at about $6,000 as well as mentorships to students from throughout the county. The need-based scholarship is available to county students that are accepted to the community college with at least a GPA of 2.5 and submit three letters of recommendation.

The winners of the scholarship are Paige Gwathmey of Upper Marlboro, Lisa Le of College Park, Michelle Masih of Adelphi, Belqui Rios of Hyattsville, Kenneth Palad of Fort Washington, Devon Wallace of Bladensburg, and Ajee Alexander and Amstrong Njinguet, both of Capitol Heights.
