Landover Hills officials have scheduled a “Fall Clean Up Day” from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Oct. 20 to start at the Town Hall, 6904 Taylor St.

Councilman Mike Thompson (Ward 3) said two Dumpsters will be available for people to dump trash, but residents cannot dump tires and chemicals, such as paint.

“What we’re trying to stress is the kids can become involved for community service [hours],” Thompson said. “We’re just trying to get as many people involved in the town as possible.”
