A sport utility vehicle ended up wedged between a raised parking lot and an adjoining building in Landover Hills on Friday afternoon after the driver accidently backed off the edge of the lot, according to Prince George’s County police.

No one was injured in the accident, police said.

The driver’s age and gender were not immediately available, said Officer Edward Martin, a Prince George’s County police spokesman.

Although children were in the vehicle at the time of the incident, police could not confirm how many children or their ages, Martin said.

At about 1 p.m., the adult driver of a white Ford Expedition accidentally reversed the vehicle off a raised parking lot in the 4600 block of Cooper Lane, Martin said.

The rear of the SUV went off the edge of the lot and became wedged between the lot and a second building, Martin said.

A crane was called to remove the vehicle, said Cpl. Maria McKinney, a county police spokeswoman.
