The Germantown Library is celebrating its fifth anniversary from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 29 with a hula performance and special programs for children. The library will host face painters, Hawaiian performer Melissa Mokihana Scalph, and a science show called “Things That Go Boom!”
The program is appropriate for children ages 6 to 9. Goody bags will be available, though supplies are limited. Free tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 6 p.m. Sept. 25 in the library’s children’s section. Families may choose to attend either the science show or hula performance.
