The Laurel Historical Society is hosting its second annual Educator’s Open House from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sept. 27 at the Laurel Museum, 817 Main St.
The event, which is sponsored by Maryland Miilestones/ATHA Inc., is open to all teachers, home school leaders, scout leaders, parents and group leaders. There will be door and raffle prizes, gift bags, refreshments as well as tours of the Laurel Museum.
“We bill it as for anyone who works with kids,” said Lindsay Baker, executive director of the Laurel Historical Society.
Baker said representatives from local theaters, libraries and other non-profits will be present to provide information.
