The following is a summary of incidents in the Damascus area to which Montgomery County police responded recently. The words “arrested” and “charged” do not imply guilt. This information was provided by the county.

Aggravated Assault

ź On September 1 at 7:20 p.m. in the 19700 block of Middlebrook Road, Germantown. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and was arrested.

ź On September 2 at 4:10 a.m. in the 18100 block of Metz Drive, Germantown. The suspect assaulted the victim then fled.

Residential Burglary

ź 28300 block of Honeysuckle Drive, Damascus, on August 27.

ź 13000 block of Ethel Rose Way, Boyds, on August 27.

Strong-Arm Robbery

ź On August 31 at 10:50 a.m. in the 12300 block of Middlebrook Road, Germantown. The suspects forcefully removed property from the victim.
