Prince George’s County Councilman Mel Franklin (D-Dist. 9) of Upper Marlboro will host a community meeting today at the Prince George’s County Police Department District 5 station in Clinton to discuss plans for the expansion of the Brandywine Crossing development.
Franklin said residents are invited to hear from North Carolina-based developer Faison about the company’s plans for the second phase of the Brandywine mixed-use development, including potential tenants, and provide feedback.
“We’re really trying to get the community engaged, so they can give feedback to the developers about the tenants they might bring,” Franklin said. “It gives them the opportunity to have input in the process, and it lets the developers know what kind of choices residents want to see.”
The meeting, which will run from 6:30 to 8 p.m., will be located at 6707 Groveton Drive in Clinton.
