The Harriet Chapel, Catoctin Episcopal Parish, recently awarded the 2012 Frank V. Anders scholarships to Ashley Urquidi and Emily Scott.

Urquidi, a graduate of Hood College, lives in Austin, Texas, where she attends the Seminary of the South to pursue her Masters of Divinity, according to a press release.

Scott is a 2012 graduate of Gov. Thomas Johnson High School and will begin college this fall at Ohio Wesleyan University, where she plans to study neuroscience.

The Frank V. Anders Scholarship is a $500 prize, awarded annually to students pursuing post secondary education, and are selected by a committee of Harriet Chapel parishioners.
