Early education major Kathleen Mangels of Silver Spring was inducted into the Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia.

The society for first-year college students recognizes academic achievement. Students must have a GPA of at least 3.5 and be in the top 20 percent of their class.
