1st District
Aggravated Assault
On August 21 at 4:21 p.m. in front of Fire Station #3, 380 Hungerford Drive, Rockville. The suspect assaulted the victim after a road rage incident.
On August 25 at 1:07 p.m. in the 14200 block of Seneca Road, Darnestown. The suspect assaulted the victim then fled.
On August 28 at 7:04 p.m. in front of JJ Muldoons, 16143 Shady Grove Road, Rockville. The suspect assaulted the victim.
Commercial Burglary
Between 11 p.m. August 25 and 6 a.m. August 26 at Deck Helmet, 5465 Parklawn Drive, Rockville. Forced entry, took property.
Between 4 p.m. August 26 and 10:30 a.m. August 27 at Talk of the Town, 14650 Southlawn Lane, Rockville. Forced entry, unknown whether anything was taken.
Graffiti
12500 block of Village Square Terrace, North Bethesda, between 5:45 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. August 23. Spray-painted on a vehicle.
Residential Burglary
2300 block of Henslowe Drive, Rockville, at 5:34 p.m. August 22. The suspect unsuccessfully attempted to gain entry to one residence and then successfully gained entry to another. He was arrested.
11900 block of Parklawn Drive, Rockville, between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. August 24. Attempted forced entry, took nothing.
1700 block of Farragut Avenue, Rockville, between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. August 25. Unforced entry, took property.
Strong-Arm Robbery
On August 26 at 4 p.m. at Hungerford and North Campus drives, Rockville. The three suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property.
Vehicle Larceny
15400 block of Avery Road, Rockville, between 10 p.m. August 26 and 2 a.m. August 27. Unlocked doors, took cash.
15500 block of Avery Road, Rockville, at 3:36 a.m. August 27. Forced entry, unknown what was taken.
2nd District
Aggravated Assault
On August 24 at 5:30 p.m. in the 7100 block of Loch Lomand Drive, Bethesda.
Burglary
On August 28 at 1:45 a.m. at the Church of Latter-day Saints, 10000 Stoneybrook Drive, Kensington. The nine suspects were located playing basketball.
Commercial Burglary
On August 24 at 12:06 a.m. at Chevy Chase Cars, 7725 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda. Unknown means of entry, unknown whether anything was taken.
Overnight between August 24 and 25 at Federal Business Services, 4340 East West Highway, Bethesda. Forced entry, nothing reported missing.
On August 27 at 8:15 a.m. at ESI, 4350 East West Highway, Bethesda. Unknown means of entry, unknown whether anything was taken.
Graffiti
5500 block of Northfield Road, Bethesda. Three incidents this week.
4500 block of Chestnut Street, Bethesda, overnight between August 21 and 22.
3300 block of Wake Drive, Kensington, overnight between August 22 and 23. Spray-painted onto a parked vehicle.
6100 block of Madawaska Road, Bethesda, at 6 a.m. August 23.
Residential Burglary
5400 block of Uppingham Street, Chevy Chase, between August 20 and 25. Forced entry, took property.
Vehicle Larceny
Four incidents in Chevy Chase during overnight hours. Three of the vehicles were entered by force; the fourth had been left unsecured. Two vehicles were searched with nothing reported taken; the other two reported that cash and an iPod were missing. Affected streets included the 6900 block of Ridgewood Avenue, 4200 block of Rosemary Street and the 6100 block of Nevada Avenue.
7600 block of Bradley Boulevard, Bethesda, between 10:40 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. August 22. Forced entry, took purses.
7800 block of Radnor Road, Bethesda, between August 22 and 23. Took a laptop from an unsecured vehicle.
