Prince George’s County sheriff’s deputies arrested Tuesday two suspects wanted for an alleged kidnapping Aug. 29 in Clinton.
Brandon Lee, 21, of the 6100 block of Addison Road in Capitol Heights and Terrace Buckman Jr., 20, of the 6200 block of Willow Way in Clinton are charged with kidnapping, first-degree assault and use of a firearm to commit a felony. Buckman is also charged with first-degree burglary and felony theft, according to the sheriff’s department.
Sheriff’s deputies said on Aug. 29, Lee and Buckman approached a male victim in the 10700 block of Bickford Avenue in Clinton, and Lee allegedly grabbed the victim and forced him into the backseat of a vehicle. According to the arrest warrant, the victim saw that Buckman was reaching for a handgun and was able to jump out of the vehicle and run away.
Previously, sheriff’s deputies say that on May 4 in the 6800 block of Groverton Drive in Clinton, Buckman entered a male victim’s home and stole various belongings valued at $12,400, so there was already a warrant out for his arrest.
Deputies investigating the warrants were led to the block address where Lee lives and located and apprehended both suspects without incident.
Lee and Buckman are now being held at the county’s Department of Corrections in Upper Marlboro.
Defense attorney information for both suspects were not listed with the courts Wednesday, according to online Prince George’s County District Court records.
Both suspects are scheduled for a preliminary hearing Oct. 10, according to online court records.
Phone numbers for the suspects could not be located.
