Prince George’s police are seeking four suspects who allegedly beat and robbed a man who was taking shelter from a storm at a Largo shopping center Sept. 1.

Around 8:21 p.m., county police officers responded to the Boulevard at the Capital Centre in Largo to find that a male had been robbed of his iPod Touch and one of his shoes.

According to county police, he and his girlfriend had walked inside a tunnel area between the Five Guys and Qdoba Mexican Grill restaurants to take shelter from rain when four suspects attacked the male, punching and knocking him to the ground.

Moments earlier, one suspect walked by the victim and his girlfriend but pretended to be on a cell phone and walked away before coming back with the other three suspects unexpectedly. The victim refused medical treatment and the extent of his injuries is unknown.

The suspects ran away from the scene and got into a burgundy four-door sedan, which they used to escape, county police said.

Police have obtained surveillance footage from the scene that shows the four suspects responsible for the incident and anyone with information is asked to call Crime Solvers at 866-411-TIPS.

A cash reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for any tip that leads to the arrest and indictment of the responsible suspects.
