Three Prince George’s County students have won new rides thanks to good grades in the past school year.

The Full Circle Martial Arts Academy awarded three of its students new 10-speed Magna bikes on Aug. 4 after the trio managed to get straight A’s throughout the 2011 to 2012 school year, said Johanna Williams, a program director with the academy.

David Hay, a 10-year-old student at Mattaponi Elementary in Upper Marlboro and Cameron Mance, an 11-year-old student at Woodmore Elementary, both from Upper Marlboro received the bikes. Payton Dunbar, 12, of Glenn Dale was the third student at the Kung Fu academy to receive the bikes, valued at about $120.

For more than a decade the martial academy, has given away bikes to students who have gotten straight A’s during the school year, Williams said.

“Not only are they working out they’re having fun [on the bikes],” she said.
