The Fort Meade chapter of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity recently awarded a number of college scholarships to Prince George’s County residents.

Among the students awarded $1,500 scholarships include Aaron Arnold of High Point High School in Beltsville, Jennifer Dewitt of Laurel High School, Autumn Mason of Largo High School, Simone Orjisson of Elizabeth Seton High School in Bladensburg, Paul Wilson III of Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt, and Bilal Wright of DuVal High School in Lanham.

Recipients of $1,000 scholarships include Jacquelyn Ferguson of Dr. Henry A. Wise High School in Upper Marlboro, Tiara Q. Slatter of Suitland High School, Alijah D. Harley of Friendly High School in Fort Washington, Chelsie Stevens of Elizabeth Seton High School, Michael Wingard of Gwynn Park High School in Brandywine, Victor Blackley of Friendly High School, Maurice Mimms of Charles H. Flowers High School in Springdale, Cedric Moor of Bowie High School, and Nyema A. Washington of Suitland High School.
