The Prince George’s police department joined other law enforcement agencies across the country in a two-day motorcycle ride to visit each of the 9/11 crash sites in the 12th annual America’s 9/11 Ride.

Officers in the department’s motor unit visited Somerset, Penn., The Pentagon Memorial in Arlington, Va. and the Word Trade Center in New York City from Aug. 17 to 19.

The ride was sponsored by America’s 9/11 Foundation, Inc., an organization to support first responders and to remember the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.
