The American Health Assistance Foundation of Clarksburg elected Scott Rodgville of Elkridge secretary and re-elected Nicholas Raymond of Silver Spring treasurer. Rodgville worked for Gorfine, Schiller & Gardyn of Owings Mills; Raymond is a retired retail banker.

Choice Hotels International of Silver Spring named C.A. Anderson vice president of development for Cambria Suites. Previously, Anderson was president and COO of Dow Hotel and also worked for Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers, Red Lion Hotels and Japan Airline Group.

The Maryland Court Appointed Special Advocates Association elected the following officers: Lisa A. Lunghofer, president; Angela Lunczynski-Hamilton, vice president; Josh A. Craig Panos, business consultant for Baltimore County with the Maryland Small Business Development Center Central Region in Baltimore, was named the 2012 Maryland State Star by the center for counseling “379 clients and helping them increase sales by $18.4 million, obtain $6.8 million in financing, create 74 jobs and retain 85 jobs” in fiscal 2011.
