Prince George’s County police are searching for a man they say was dressed as a woman as he robbed a Bowie bank.

At about 9 a.m. Aug. 7, an unarmed man in a shoulder-length black wig and multi-colored dress passed a bank teller a note demanding cash at the Capital One Bank in the 6100 block of High Bridge Road, a police release states.

A reward up to $1,000 will go to those who have a tip leading to an arrest, police said.

Those with information are asked to reference case number 12-220-0792 when calling 301-772-4905 or Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS.
