The following is a summary of incidents in Gaithersburg to which the Montgomery County police and/or Gaithersburg police responded recently. The words “arrested” and “charged” do not imply guilt. This information was provided by the county and Gaithersburg police media services office.

Aggravated AssaultŸ On July 12 at 8 p.m. in the parking lot of 18245 Lost Knife Circle, Montgomery Village. The victim and suspect are known to each other.

Armed RobberyŸ On July 16 at 5:30 p.m. at Watkins Mill Elementary School, 19001 Watkins Mill Road, Montgomery Village. Unsuccessful attempt.

Indecent ExposureŸ On July 9 at 1:15 p.m. in the unit block of Trento Court, Gaithersburg. The victim was walking when the suspect exposed himself to her. A man, 27, Gaithersburg, was arrested.

Residential Burglary

Ÿ Unit block of Bralan Court, Gaithersburg, at 2 p.m. July 10. Unknown suspect(s) entered the residence through an unlocked rear sliding door and removed property.

Ÿ 1300 block of Travis View Court, Gaithersburg, at 10:30 a.m. July 12. A rock was thrown through a rear door, breaking the glass. No entry was made and no property was taken.

Ÿ 600 block of West Side Drive, Gaithersburg, at noon July 14. Unknown entry, unknown if anything was taken.

Ÿ 10800 block of Arrowsmith Court, Gaithersburg, at 10:45 a.m. July 16. Unknown entry, property taken. A man, 22, of Gaithersburg, was arrested.

Ÿ 900 block of Clopper Road, Gaithersburg, between 11:30 p.m. July 16 and 9 a.m. July 17. There were no signs of forced entry and property was taken.

RobberyŸ On July 13 at 11:30 p.m. near the intersection of Victory Farm Road and Saybrooke Oaks Boulevard, Gaithersburg. The victim was walking when he was approached by the suspect who knocked him down. The victim’s backpack, wallet and cell phone were taken.
