The Prince George’s Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 81-year-old Beltsville resident.

Lester Hurst was last seen at 1 p.m. on Saturday, when he was leaving his home in the 3000 block of Craiglawn Road, police said.

Hurst is white with gray hair. He is 5-foot-8 and weighs about 125 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, cream-colored pants, and brown shoes.

He is driving a gray 2005 Toyota Corolla, with Maryland tags 5EVD57.

Hurst has suffered two strokes that have caused him brain atrophy and is considered a critical missing person, said Edward Martin spokesman for the Prince George’s Police Department.

Martin asked anyone who may have seen Hurst or have information about his whereabouts to contact the police at its non-emergency number 301-352-1200 or the District VI Investigative Section at 301-937-0910.

“They should just call the police so we can provide him with assistance,” Martin said.
