The National Foundation for Cancer Research in Bethesda has partnered with Give By Cell, a San Francisco-based company, to provide donors with an easier way to give back.

Through the service, called Mobile Give, donors can text “NFCR” to 20222 to make a $5 donation, which will be applied to their next cell phone bill.

NFCR is dedicated to finding a cure for cancer by funding cancer research and public information. Since 1973, it has provided more than $300 million in support of cancer research and public education. NFCR's scientists are discovering cancer's molecular mysteries and translating these discoveries into therapies that hold the hope for curing cancer.
