Glory be!For the second time recently, I was amazed by continuing acts of kindness in our community.

I was extremely surprised by two merchants, one representing Twin Arch Cleaners and the second, Chong Yet Yin, at the Mount Airy Shopping Center off Ridgeville Boulevard.

In both cases, returned to me was cash that was left in one of my pockets at the cleaner. In the second incident, I had taken my car keys from my pocket and a number of cash bills had fallen to the floor at lunch without me noticing.

The merchant quickly caught up to me in the parking lot and returned the money.

In the case of the cleaners when I picked up my clothes, attached was a plastic bag with the money I had left in my pocket.

Trustworthy merchants deserve your repeat patronage, they set an example of being good neighbors.
