Syeda Rabia Ali of North Potomac was among 256 graduates awarded the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine at the college’s 121st commencement.

Ali is the daughter of Linda and Syed Ali of North Potomac.

She earned a bachelor of science degree in physiology and neurobiology from the University of Maryland in 2008.

Ali is continuing her medical training in obstetrics and gynecology at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pa.
