The city of Hyattsville will be swinging this week as part of the festive and free Outback Steakhouse Summer Jam series will be held Friday at the Municipal Building at 4310 Gallatin St.

The two-hour event which runs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. will feature free food such as burgers and hot dogs. Music will be provided by the Atomic Swing Club which plays a blend of jazz, lounge, blues, rockabilly and big band style music.

The event is held rain or shine on the second Friday of each month during summer until September.
