Rachel Parker of Olney received a Master of Arts degree in leadership in teaching from Notre Dame of Maryland University at the May 26 commencement in Baltimore.

Michael Packer of Olney graduated with an Artium Baccalarius degree in physics from Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y., on May 27.

Tess Danielson of Olney graduated with honors from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Fla., with degrees in marine science and Spanish.

Rachel Eileen Feinberg graduated summa cum laude from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, Pa., with a doctorate in physical therapy with a minor in fitness and health management. The daughter of Cindy and Jay Feinberg, she was a member of Alpha Chi scholarship society and Alpha Lambda Delta honor society, and also received the Alumni Association Award for the highest grade point average in physical therapy.

Olney residents Alanna Coogan, a member of the Class of 2015 and digital media major, and Carly Larkin, a member of the Class of 2014 and communication-public relations major, have been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2012 semester at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

Several students from Olney have been named to the University of Delaware's dean's list for the spring 2012 semester. They include: Danielle Day, Alex Dionne, Brittany Giganti, Sophia Resutek, Victoria Rhoades, Rachel Turim and Lauren Wood. To achieve this recognition, a student must be enrolled full time and earn a grade point average of 3.33 or above for the semester.
