Two women’s clothiers open at National Harbor

Angst and Blink Blanco, two new women's clothing and accessory stores, announced their opening at National Harbor in Oxon Hill this month.

Angst caters to a bohemian style, while Blink Blanco trends toward young professionals, according to information from the stores.

TD Bank to open new Bowie branch July 14

TD Bank will host a grand opening July 14 at its new branch at 4319 Collington Road, Bowie, across from the Bowie Town Center. The new store is designed to meet certification standards by the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental program, and will be TD Bank's 70th such location, according to a statement by the Cherry Hill, N.J., bank.

The store will hire its 10 to 15 employees locally, according to the company. Lisa Wallace of Bowie will be manager.

Vocus hires new vice president

Tom Lewis has joined social marketing firm Vocus of Beltsville as senior vice president of business development.

Lewis is a four-time CEO and most recently led ImmersiFind, which provided tools for the small-business market for search and social media marketing, according to a Vocus statement.
