While the damage and continuing cleanup from Friday’s storms meant several celebrations had to be canceled, there are still places you can go for July 4 music, fireworks and more.

All events are on Wednesday, July 4, unless otherwise specified.
Bowie Bowie will celebrate July 4 with an 8 p.m. concert by United States Air Force Airmen of Note, followed by a flag ceremony and fireworks at 9 p.m., at Allen Pond Park, weather permitting. Rain date for the fireworks is July 5.
Fireworks are also scheduled for after the Baysox game at Prince George's Stadium, 4101 NE Crain Highway, Bowie, according to their website.
College Park
An Independence Day celebration, sponsored by College Park and the University of Maryland, is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.. at the University of Maryland in parking lot 1, off Campus Drive near Adelphi Road. It starts with a concert by The Fabulous Hubcaps, followed by fireworks around 9 p.m. Rain date for the fireworks is July 5.
Frederick
Frederick's 4th is scheduled to run from noon to dusk at Baker Park in Frederick. Events include rides, activities, three stages of entertainment and a fireworks show. Full details can be found on Celebrate Frederick’s website at http://www.celebratefrederick.com.
Greenbelt
Spend time with friends and neighbors at Buddy Attick Park, 555 Crescent Road, Greenbelt. Greenbelt Concert Band will perform starting at 5:45 p.m. and a drum circle will begin at 7:15 p.m. - the public may listen or participate. Fireworks will begin as soon as it is dark enough. Largo
According to its website, Six Flags America will hold a fireworks display over Hurricane Bay wave pool.
Laurel
A celebration, including a parade, fireworks and a car show, is scheduled for July 7. Parade at 11 a.m., followed by the car show and fireworks at dusk.
Montgomery Village
Enjoy a parade, join in the 5k run/walk and 1-mile fun run or take in any of the other events at the Montgomery Village Foundation Independence Day Celebration, with post-parade events taking place at the Apple Ridge Recreational Area, 10101 Apple Ridge Road, until 2 p.m.
Olney
A special Olney Farmers and Artists event is scheduled from 1 to 5 p.m. at the MedStar Montgomery General Thrift Shop grounds, located at Prince Phillip Drive and Olney-Sandy Spring Road. There will be a different band performing every hour and a chili cook-off at 4 p.m. If the temperature is more than 90 degrees, there will be a sprinkler for the kids. Takoma Park
For its 123rd year, Takoma Park will be holding its annual July Fourth parade and fireworks celebration. The parade is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
