The Prince George’s County school board approved nine principal appointments at its June 14 meeting.

The board is expected to approve up to 17 more at its meeting today.

Dennis W. Bilicic, the resident principal at Gaywood Elementary School in Seabrook, will take over at Baden Elementary School in Brandywine, as Baden’s current principal, Danielle Goddard, moves to lead Imagine Lincoln Public Charter School in Temple Hills.

Peter A. Thompson, the acting principal at Imagine Lincoln, will become the principal at Imagine Foundations II Public Charter School in Morningside.

David G. Curry Jr., the former resident principal at Benjamin Stoddert Middle School in Temple Hills, became the interim principal at Charles Carroll Middle School in New Carrollton in the middle of the 2011-2012 school year. He will continue in this role for the 2012-2013 school year.

Gorman Brown, the principal at Walker Mill Middle School in Capitol Heights, moves to Charles Herbert Flowers High School in Springdale to replace Helena Nobles-Jones, who is retiring after 12 years as principal.

Nicole Warner, the resident principal at Adelphi Elementary School, was named the new principal at Catherine T. Reed Elementary School in Lanham.

Helda Morad, the resident principal at Springhill Lake Elementary School in Greenbelt, will take the helm at Thomas Stone Elementary School in Mount Rainier.

Shawn D. Hintz, an assistant principal at Beltsville Academy, will be the new principal at Mount Rainier Elementary School.

Emmett H. Hendershot, the assistant principal at Carrollton Elementary School in New Carrollton, will become the principal at Paint Branch Elementary School in College Park.
