The Prince George’s County chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women elected new officers. The NCBW is a national nonprofit that does community service and advocacy work. The following women have been elected to officer positions: Helen Charles — financial secretary; Joyce Duckett — president; Carrie Hackney — recording secretary; Norma Ijadunola — first vice president; Gretchen Lofland — second vice president; Cheryl Moore — treasurer and Brenda Sutton —corresponding secretary.
