The free “Parent Education Summit” is planned for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Capitol Heights Elementary School, 601 Suffolk Ave. The summit will include workshops for parents on how they can make their children academically successful and is sponsored by The Tavis Smiley Foundation, a youth leadership group.
