Maryland Congressman Chris Van Hollen (D-Dist. 8) announced the recipients of the 2012 Van Hollen Public Service Award for outstanding community service to their school and/or community.
The award reflects Van Hollen’s belief in the importance of community involvement and his desire to recognize individuals who are dedicated to serving others.
Each participating high school in Maryland’s 8th Congressional District was invited to select an outstanding student for this special recognition.
