3rd District<>Aggravated Assault<>

Ÿ On June 10 at 12:41 a.m. in the unit block of Stratford Garden Street, Fairland. The suspect, a male, 19, assaulted the victim with a weapon and fled.

<>Commercial Burglary<>

Ÿ Between 3 p.m. June 8 and 7 a.m. June 11 at Doctors Medical Park, 10301 Georgia Ave., Silver Spring. Unknown means of entry, property taken.

<>Residential Burglary<>

Ÿ 1600 block of Dublin Drive, Silver Spring, between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. June 5. Unknown means of entry, property taken.

Ÿ 13800 block of Castle Boulevard, Fairland, between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. June 5. Forced entry, property taken.

Ÿ 11200 block of Lockwood Drive, Silver Spring, between 5:30 and 5:57 p.m. June 5. No forced entry, property taken.

Ÿ 10100 block of Brock Drive, Silver Spring, between 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. June 6. Unknown entry, property taken.

Ÿ 9500 block of Hale Place, Silver Spring, at 10:46 a.m. June 6. Attempted forced entry, nothing taken. Suspects are two males, 18-24.

Ÿ 700 block of Sligo Avenue, Silver Spring, between 11:35 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. June 6. Forced entry, property taken.

Ÿ 3900 block of Angelton Court, Fairland, between 7:30 a.m. and 9:45 p.m. June 7. Forced entry, property taken.

Ÿ 800 block of Downs Drive, Silver Spring, between noon and 3:13 p.m. June 8. Forced entry, property taken.

Ÿ 9300 block of Piney Branch Road, Silver Spring, between 5 and 7:30 p.m. June 9. Unknown means of entry, unknown whether anything was taken.

Ÿ 800 block of Bonifant Street, Silver Spring, between noon and 2 p.m. June 11. No forced entry, property taken.

Ÿ 12300 block of Prosperity Drive, Calverton, at 9:41 p.m. June 11. Unknown means of entry, unknown whether anything was taken.

<>Robbery<>Ÿ On June 6 at 10:54 a.m. in the area of University Boulevard and Colesville Road, Silver Spring. The suspects, three to 10 males, 16-18, forcefully removed property from the victim.

Ÿ On June 6 at 9:20 p.m. in the area of Piney Branch Road and Garland Avenue, Silver Spring. The suspects, three males, assaulted the victim and obtained property.

Ÿ On June 7 at 5 p.m. in the 10800 block of New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring. The suspect is known to the victim. A male, 19, Silver Spring, was arrested.

Ÿ On June 9 at 12:20 a.m. in the 1900 block of Bronzegate Boulevard, Calverton. The suspects, a male, 17-19, 5 feet 7 to 9 inches tall, and a male, 20-25, assaulted the victims and removed property.

4th District<>Aggravated Assault<>

Ÿ On June 5 at 9:49 p.m. in the 3700 block of Bel Pre Road, Aspen Hill. The suspect is known to the victim.

Ÿ On June 6 at 6:30 p.m. at Spencerville Park, 1501 Good Hope Road, Silver Spring. The suspect, a male, 33, Washington, D.C., assaulted the victim and was arrested.

<>Armed Robbery<>Ÿ On June 6 at 2:45 p.m. at Bluhill Road and Clay Street, Wheaton. The suspects, three males, 18-19, displayed a weapon and obtained property.

<>Residential Burglary<>

Ÿ 12700 block of Layhill Road, Silver Spring, between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. May 30. No forced entry, property taken.

Ÿ 2300 block of Jones Lane, Silver Spring, June 5. Unknown means of entry, nothing taken. A male, 17, Wheaton, was arrested.

Ÿ Unit block of Locksley Court, Silver Spring, between 11:30 a.m. and 2:37 p.m. June 8. Forced entry, property taken.

Ÿ 2300 block of Arcola Avenue, Silver Spring, at 6:07 p.m. June 9. Attempted entry. Four males, 14, 16, 13 and 15, Wheaton, were arrested.

Ÿ 21900 block of New Hampshire Avenue, Brookeville, overnight between June 10 and 11. No forced entry, property taken.

Ÿ 2400 block of Sun Valley Circle, Aspen Hill, overnight between June 11 and June 12. No forced entry, unknown whether anything was taken.

<>Robbery<>Ÿ On June 7 at 5:30 p.m. on Redgate Drive, Colesville. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property. A male, 16, Silver Spring, was arrested.

<>Strong-Arm Robbery<>

Ÿ On June 8 at noon in front of Blake High School 300 Norwood Road, Silver Spring. The suspects, three males, assaulted the victim and obtained property.

Ÿ On June 11 at 6:30 p.m. at Woodwell and Alderton roads, Aspen Hill. The suspects, three males, assaulted the victim and removed property.

<>Vehicle Larceny<>

Ÿ Multiple incidents occurred on different days and in different areas of Aspen Hill, including the 4500 block of Olney-Laytonsville road, the 3700 block of Bel Pre Road, the 14500 block of Homecrest Road and the 14900 block of Habersham Circle. Most vehicles were unlocked but three were entered by force. A variety of loose property — mostly coins, cash and debit cards — were taken.

Takoma Park<>Arrests<>

Ÿ 7400 block of New Hampshire Avenue at 3:03 a.m. June 15. A male, 42, was arrested for having a multiple open warrants.

Ÿ 7500 block of Maple Avenue at 11:10 a.m. June 15. A male, 23, was arrested for having an open traffic warrant.

Ÿ 7600 block of New Hampshire Avenue at 1:16 a.m. June 16. A male, 24, was arrested for having an open alcoholic container in public.

Ÿ 8400 block of Flower Avenue at 3:15 p.m. June 17. A male, 53, was arrested for having an open alcoholic container in public.

Ÿ Intersection of Park and Carroll avenues at 8:37 p.m. June 17. A male, 22, was arrested for having an open alcoholic container in public.

Ÿ 900 block of Merrimac Drive at 3:40 a.m. June 18. A male, 40, was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Ÿ 7600 block of New Hampshire Avenue at 12:37 p.m. June 18. A male, 51, was arrested for trespassing.

<>Assault<>Ÿ On June 15 at 11:36 a.m. in the 7600 block of New Hampshire Avenue. A male suspect assaulted a female victim and her son during an argument. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrive. The victims suffered minor injuries.

Ÿ On June 15 at 11:23 p.m. in the 7000 block of Carroll Avenue. A male suspect and female suspect assaulted each other during an argument that turned physical. Each suffered minor injuries.

<>Larceny<>Ÿ On June 17 at 2:17 p.m. in the 7000 block of Carroll Avenue. A male suspect entered a business and asked to use the restroom. After the suspect left, an employee noticed property missing from a purse.

Ÿ On June 18 at 3:47 p.m. in the 6300 block of New Hampshire Avenue. A male suspect removed an item from a store and fled without paying.

<>Robbery<>Ÿ On June 19 at 4:39 p.m. in the 6300 block of New Hampshire Avenue. An unknown male suspect approached a male victim and demanded his property. A struggle ensued and the suspect assaulted the victim with a knife several times before fleeing into Prince George’s County. A canvass for the suspect yielded negative results. The victim suffered non-threatening injuries.

<>Vehicle Larceny<>

Ÿ 1000 block of Elm Avenue at 5:30 a.m. June 17. Unknown suspect(s) broke a vehicle window gain entry and stole a GPS unit.

Ÿ 800 block of Larch Avenue at 8:05 a.m. June 17. Unknown suspect(s) broke a vehicle window to gain entry and stole property.

Ÿ 6600 block of Allegheny Avenue at 11:56 p.m. June 18. Unknown victims entered an unlocked vehicle, but did not take any property.
