The Urbana Music Festival and Craft Show returns from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at Urbana Regional Library, 9020 Amelung Street, Urbana. The annual celebration of music, art and summer will welcome regional rockers The Mary Ann Redmond Band, The Beat Hotel featuring the Bell Hop Horns and The Chopteeth Afropunk Big Band. Plein air paintings courtesy of the artists of Frederick’s Gallery 322 are now on view to Aug. 26 at the venue, 322 N. Market St., Frederick. Entitled “Open Air,” the exhibit opened on July 16 in conjunction with Easels in Frederick festivities, and features works by Walter Bartman, Jackie Jouvenal, Jan Kaufman, Linda Kirvan, Ann Schaefer and Russell Schofield, who can often be found at their easels in a local park, on a city corner, or on an exotic island working to grasp the beauty of their environment.
