The owners of the Frederick Dream Dinners in Urbana are calling on other families to join in making dinner together this month to help the National Niemann-Pick Disease Foundation's Quest for a Cure in honor of a local boy.
Dillon Papier, of Urbana, was diagnosed with Niemann-Pick Type C (NPC) a fatal disease that affects the liver, creating a loss of muscle control, speech deterioration, seizures and progressive decline.
Store owners Tracey Muragaki and Jamie Carr recently held an open house to raise money for Dillon’s fight. It was so well received, that they would like to extend their offer.
All of Frederick Dream Dinner's proceeds from new guests who register for and attend a meal assembly session by June 29th will be donated to the NNPDF in honor of Dillon Papier.
Those interested should type “NPC” in the special instruction box at check out when registering online or simply mention Dillon when at a session.
