As the academic year has ended and area youth are no longer in classrooms, Forest Heights is hoping to create a youth program to provide activities and leadership skills throughout the summer.

Those interested in helping form a program to help youth stay active are encouraged to call the Town Hall at 301-839-1030.

The effort is in keeping with the “Let’s Move Program” supported by First Lady Michelle Obama.

The town is currently in talks with the Glassmanor Community Center to co-sponsor the program.
