The Women’s Caucus for Art of Greater Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia chapters opens a 34-artist exhibit with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. on June 24 at the Sandy Spring Museum.

The event will feature the eco-performance art of Philadelphia-based artists Bonnie MacAllister and a jewelry workshop using recycled objects by Gabrielle Casella.

The visual art exhibit continues through Sept. 9. It is diverse in expression and media; representing painting, sculpture, digital art, photography, assemblage and multi-media art in topics concerning the beauty of nature, the environmental problems today and of the future as well as works using natural or recycled materials.

The Sandy Spring Museum is at 17901 Bentley Road in Sandy Spring. For more information, go to www.wcadc.org or www.sandyspringmuseum.org.
