Went undefeated in county play and won his first boys singles county crown en route to leading the Hawks to their first team title in more than six years. Reached the Region I final to earn first trip to state tournament.

Coach of the Year

John Murray, Tuscarora, 4th year

Took over four-win team in 2009 and turned it into county runner-up. Despite graduating a county champion, the Titans won a school-record 15 dual matches in 2012, their third winning season in four years.

Urbana's No. 2 singles player's only loss was to teammate Yoon in a three-set county final match.
