The Greater Bowie Democratic Club has invited state legislators from District 23, which includes Bowie, to discuss the 2012 General Assembly’s regular and special sessions about the state budget and gaming at its next meeting starting at 7 p.m. on Thursday (June 7) in the Kenhill Center (the former Bowie City Hall).

Invited are state Sen. Senator Douglas J.J. Peters (D-Dist. 23) of Bowie and state delegates James W. Hubbard and Geraldine Valentino-Smith, both Democrats from Bowie representing Dist. 23A, and Del. Marvin E. Holmes, Jr. (D-Dist. 23B) of Kettering.

District 23 includes Bowie, Mitchellville, Glenn Dale, Lanham, Seabrook, Kettering, Upper Marlboro and South Laurel.

The meeting is open to the public, and the Kenhill Center is located at 2614 Kenhill Drive.
