Visitors to the first annual Arts Festival at A. Mario Loiederman Middle School for the Creative and Performing Arts in Silver Spring can create their own art.

The free festival, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday will offer workshops in visual art, jazz and tap dance, theater improvisation and stage combat.

There also will be outdoor games and a student talent showcase, art shows and art sales by artists.

Loiederman is located at 12701 Goodhill Road, Silver Spring.
