Sean Van Gieson, a senior at Rockville High School, received the Outstanding Male Catholic Youth Award from the Archdiocese of Washington on May 9. Van Gieson, a baseball player and active member of the youth group at St. Patrick’s Church in Rockville, will attend Catholic University in the fall.
