Potomac woman receives P.E.O. Scholar Award -- Gazette.Net

Sarah Miller of Potomac was one of 85 doctoral students nationwide to receive a $15,000 Scholar Award from the P.E.O. Sisterhood.

Miller, 29, is a Ph.D. student in international relations at Oxford University in England. She holds a masterís degree in the science of forced migration from Oxford and a masterís in social sciences from the University of Chicago.

P.E.O. Sisterhood is a philanthropic, educational organization founded in 1869 to increase opportunities for higher education for women. Millerís award application was sponsored by the groupís Chapter S of Potomac.
