This week as we celebrate National Hospital Week and National Nurses Week (May 6-12), please accept my sincere thanks for your extraordinary contributions to our community. Every day I witness your hard work and dedication at all levels — from food service to nursing, to housekeeping, radiology and support staff, everywhere.

You work long hours, manage multiple priorities, face daily challenges and still maintain a positive outlook. You continue to go the extra mile and thatís what makes the difference in the lives you touch.

Itís easy to get caught up in the day-to-day rush of the hospital. This is why Hospital Week and Nurses Week is so important because it gives me the opportunity to recognize and acknowledge our team as a whole. As president and CEO of our hospital, Iím extremely proud of each and every one of you and salute your commitment to caring and dedication to excellence that make us all proud to here. My thanks for a job well done.
