Air Force Airman Molly M. Doherty graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Doherty is the daughter of Steven and Stacie Doherty of Jon Court in Ijamsville. She is a 2010 graduate of Urbana High School.

Doherty completed an eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.
