Brunswick’s bulk trash pickup is scheduled for May 12, with a maximum of four items per home.
Items should be labeled “bulk trash” and set on the curb by 6 a.m. Items put out after 6 a.m. will not be picked up.
Acceptable items include refrigerators and freezers, washers and dryers, wood stoves, water heaters and tanks, grills with propane tanks removed, lawn mowers with gas and oil removed, bicycles, air conditioners, dishwashers, trash compactors, exercise equipment, couches and chairs, picnic tables, toilets, bathtubs and sinks, carpet (maximum of three rolls), humidifiers and dehumidifiers, stoves and ovens, furnaces, pianos, small chairs and tables and cabinets and dressers.
Unacceptable items include construction and building materials; explosives and ammunition; cardboard, paper and books; tree trimmings; paint; gasoline; oil; basketball poles; hazardous wastes; dead animals; yard waste; fencing; bags of clothing; mattresses and box springs; propane tanks; household trash; dirt; rocks; sod; concrete materials; and automobile parts.
