Prince George’s County police are investigating a string of shoplifting cases throughout the region involving ink cartridges.

Two unidentified men are responsible for shoplifting from Home Depot home improvement stores and Staples office supplies stores between Baltimore and Virginia, according to county police.

Sgt. Sonya Rorls, a county police spokeswoman, said the two men are responsible for stealing about $50,000 worth of ink cartridges.

She said the case in under investigation and said police are actively seeking the suspects.
