Hill inducted into honor society
On April 11, seven Eastern Connecticut State University students were inducted into Eastern’s chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national honor society for political science.
Port Tobacco resident Kelly Hill of the class of 2013 was one of the inductees.
Hill’s major is political science.
The society’s purpose is to recognize and promote high academic achievement in political science. The university is in Willimantic, Conn.
Everett named to dean's list at Randolph Macon
Khaleeq D Everett, the son of Bruce and Felicia Blake of Welcome and Kenneth E. Everett of Fort Washington, has been named to Randolph-Macon Academy's dean's list for the third quarter of the 2011-12 school year. Everett is a senior at the Front Royal, Va., school.
Fusesel graduates from Virginia Tech
Amiee Fuesel of La Plata received a bachelor's in communication from the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences and a bachelor's in psychology from the College of Science at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va.
