OBGC is preparing to renovate and rehabilitate Falling Green, the circa 1770 home of some of Montgomery County’s most significant early settlers, the Brooke family. Once restored, the house will be used for administrative offices, and will provide much-needed meeting space for coaches and volunteers, as well as improve the access and security at the park.
To date, $1 million of the estimated $1.6 million needed for restoration has been raised. OBGC’s goal is to break ground this summer, pending adequate funding. For more information, view a video at http://vimeo.com/32368950 or visit www.Fallinggreen.com.
