Pepco is offering 1,000 free trees to Prince George’s County customers as part of its Energy-Saving Trees program. The program saves energy and reduces household electricity bills via strategic planting of trees.

Customers can now reserve up to two free trees at www.arborday.org/pepcotrees and can identify the best area to plant their trees and will be able to receive an estimate on their annual savings from the tree’s placement.

Pepco will deliver the two- to four-foot trees that will come with a tip and advice sheet.

Customers may also visit www.davey.com/guide for more tree maintenance information.
