One man is dead and another was wounded after a shooting in District Heights Sunday morning, county police said.
Cpl. Mike Rodriguez, a Prince George’s County Police Department spokesman, said police responded at about 8:19 a.m. to a report of gunshots at the 2700 block of Judith Avenue. When they arrived, they found two men inside a home suffering from gunshot wounds.
Rodriguez said a preliminary investigation suggests that the shooting began with some kind of altercation in the home.
One victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Rodriguez said. The other victim was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Rodriguez said police are still determining a motive and working to find possible suspects in the case.
