A shooting in the early morning hours Sunday left four people injured in District Heights, according to police.
Around 3 a.m. in the 5500 block of Marlboro Pike, the suspect fired into a crowd of people after a dispute, said Cpl. Evan Baxter, a spokesman for the Prince George’s County Police Department.
Four people sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to an area hospital and later released.
The suspect fled in a vehicle and was caught by Virginia State Police, who made the arrest after a 20-minute car chase, Baxter said.
Police are not releasing the name of the suspect, who was still awaiting extradition back to Prince George’s County as of press time, said Cpl. Larry Johnson, a department spokesman.
