Riverdale Baptist ran its boys basketball winning streak to 20 consecutive games and improved to 26-2 with a 67-49 victory over Washington, D.C.'s Theodore Roosevelt.

The Crusaders led 18-7 at the end of the first quarter and further took control by outscoring the Riders 25-14 in the third period. Khary Doby and Olajuwon Lewis each had 13 points and Brandon Peel added 10 for Riverdale Baptist. Hershell Grant and Everett Quick each had 11 points for Roosevelt (14-8).

DeMatha 76, St. John's 54

DeMatha led by just one point at the end of the first quarter, but outscored the Cadets 23-9 in the second period. BeeJay Anya had 19 points to lead DeMatha (19-3 overall, 10-2 in the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference). James Robinson had 15 points, Marcellous Bell added 14 and Jerami Grant had 13 for DeMatha. Lennard Freeman led St. John's (14-10, 8-5) with 20 points.

McNamara 72, St. Mary's Ryken 53

McNamara outscored Ryken 41-21 during the second and third quarters as the Mustangs improved to 12-12 overall and 7-7 in the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference. Stephan Jiggetts had 24 points and six rebounds, Kevin Robbins had 13 points and nine rebounds and Wayne Johnson had 11 points and 12 rebounds for McNamara. Reggie Parker had 13 to lead Ryken (4-19, 0-13).

Pallotti 48, Severn School 41

Pallotti ran its record to 19-6 overall and 13-2 in the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Assocation B Conference. Marcus Scott led the Panthers with 10 points and seven rebounds, and Jeff Holland added nine points.

Flowers 60, High Point 54

Flowers trailed 29-27 at halftime, but outscored High Point 33-25 in the second half to remain in first place in the County 4A League. The Jaguars are 12-3 overall and 12-1 in the league and will take on two-time defending 4A South Region champion Eleanor Roosevelt on Tuesday night. David Barnes led Flowers with 17 points, Dontae Holloway had 15 and Darret Gorham had 12. Kayoda Ajenifuja had 20 points and Isaac Blue had 10 for High Point (5-12, 4-10).

Roosevelt 57, Northwestern 45

Akil Charles had 10 points to lead the way for Roosevelt. The Raiders will have the chance to draw even with Flowers in the County 4A League on Tuesday night. Roosevelt is 15-3 overall and 12-2 in the league, including a 47-42 loss to Flowers on Jan. 10. Nick Speller had 19 points to lead the way for Northwestern (3-13, 2-11).

Suitland 59, Bladensburg 56

Suitland held off a pesky Bladensburg squad that has played several close games this season against the upper echelon of the Prince George's County 4A League. Daquan Page had 15 points and 13 rebounds and Roddy Peters added 12 points for Suitland (11-5 overall, 9-5 league). Kyle Dawkins had 14 points and Elijah Smith had 13 for Bladensburg (5-12, 5-9). The Mustangs have lost five of their last six, but those five losses have been by a combined margin of 16 points.

Parkdale 56, DuVal 55

Parkdale outscored DuVal 11-8 in the fourth quarter to notch an upset victory against the Tigers. Charles Cooley had 21 points and Juwan Crawford, Marcellus Gail and Bredell Wallace each had 10 points for Parkdale (4-14 overall, 3-11 County 4A League). Kevin Kuteyi had 15 points, Charles Ekanyanwu had 13 points and John Monkam added 12 for DuVal (12-4 overall, 10-4 league).

Wise 81, Bowie 45

Wayne Langston had 23 points and 12 rebounds to lead the way for the Pumas, who improved to 11-6 overall and 9-5 in the County 4A League. Keith Shivers had 20 points for Wise. Bowie played its fourth consecutive game without Shakir Stocks, who was the team's leading scorer when he suffered a concussion during a game two weeks ago against Eleanor Roosevelt. Jalen Robinson led the way with nine points for the Bulldogs (11-6, 9-5).

Laurel 69, Oxon Hill 47

Adrian Rousseau and Frank Williams each had 18 points, and Davon Wilson added 17 for Laurel as the Spartans snapped a six-game losing streak and improved to 3-13 overall and 3-11 in the County 4A League. Myron Fogle had 26 points to lead Oxon Hill (5-12, 5-9).

Largo 88, Central 80

Largo jumped out to a 27-15 lead at the end of the first quarter and then held off a late push by Central, which scored 33 points in the fourth quarter. Michael Graham had 28 points and seven rebounds and Derrick Colter had 22 points to lead Largo (15-3 overall, 13-1 in the County 3A/2A/1A League). Damante McNeill had 17 points and six rebounds, Lafayette Nelson had 11 points and Khari Sewell had eight points and 19 rebounds for Largo. Calvin Lovitt had 30 points, including six 3-pointers, and Michael Hooks had 19 points for Central (8-8, 7-7).

Forestville 74, Crossland 59

Juwan Cole had his seventh consecutive game with 20 points or more, finishing with a game-high 28 to lead the way for Forestville (7-11 overall, 5-9 3A/2A/1A League). Cori Best had 12 points for the Knights. Rob Moore led Crossland with 15 points.

Douglass 49, Surrattsville 43

Douglass surged in the fourth quarter, outscoring Surrattsville 17-7 to pull out the victory. Marvis Davies led the way with 16 points as the Eagles improved to 6-10 overall and 5-9 in the 3A/2A/1A League. Deshawn Williams led Surrattsville with 10 points. The Hornets dropped to 4-13 overall, 2-12 league.

Fairmont Heights 57, Friendly 55 (OT)

Fairmont Heights led 15-4 at the end of the first quarter, but Friendly outscored the Hornets 19-9 in the second period, and the teams played a nearly even second half to send the game to overtime. Fairmont Heights outscored the Patriots 10-8 in the extra session. Julian Livingston led Fairmont Heights with 17 points as the Hornets moved to 5-13 overall and 3-11 in the County 3A/2A/1A League. Victor Blakey led Friendly with 16 points, and Jordan Gaither had 14 as the Patriots dropped to 8-9 overall and 8-5 in the league.
